They are gorgeous. Very Happy I have recently rescued a chi/doxie mix, and am slimming her down.. man, there are a TON of FAT doxies around! Yours look so trim and healthy!

Hedy had cancer? I can see you say he is doing well now, that is SO GOOD TO HEAR!

My friend Sharon keeps her dogs fit and trim. She does obedience, rally and agility with them, and trains for fun. Roxie has a load of ribbons, and plenty of initials after her name.

I actually had to work hard to get Da Punkinator to gain weight. He's not a food hound, and is easily overstimulated by little doggie company, which depresses his appetite. When Sharon's son found him and two others, he looked well cared for but was very skinny. Like a bone with fur.

Hedy (the little one on the right) had a rectal tumor, which caused a partial blockage in her lower bowel. When Sharon got her Dx'd, the vet specialist said it was inoperable. She switched all her dogs to raw, and put her on chemo. Hedy's tumor is actually non-palpable now and she's on a maintenance chemo schedule.
Sharon caters to her appetite, especially when she's had a chemo session, but she gets no carbs or veggies, just whatever raw and lightly cooked meats she'll eat.

    Wow, lucky Hedy!

I hope one day FatDog will look as good as that lot!
