My sister has three cats, Spot, my favourite of the bunch, always hops up onto the table and the counters to see if there's anything to scarf. His favourite being any baked goods. Well, my sister bought some Lilies, and we all know that they are poisonous, right? (Not tiger lilies, Asian lilies.) But, come on, what cat is really going to eat a lily? Try Spot.

He was very sick, vomiting and diarrhea, and started going into shock. She got him to the vet, who told her that if he survived 72 hours, he'd be fine, and put him on IV. He survived, but 1300$ later.

Flowers are pretty, but keep the lilies for funerals.

Holy cow! I'm way glad the kitty survived, but *sheez*, what an expensive lesson.
