Please help!

i have had my dog on a raw diet for a year and she is still too fat.

i feed her one chicken leg and one thigh a day and once a week liver. i don't even know if this is correct, and due to low vision i am having a hard time reading many posts here. i would like someone to help me with this if they would, because now my vet wants her on metabolic science diet. i don't want her on grains or possible gmos. thanks for any help you can give. i really want her diet balanced.
