Here they are, veterans of raw!
Waverli (a year and a half), raw fed since 4.5 weeks. Once she got a taste she went cold turkey off formula.
Amos (almost 5ish), raw fed since 2ish years.
Taken just a few days ago.
And my project.. the one on the right.
I've been trying for the past.. year and a half I suppose to get him to eat raw. He is to the point where he eats boneless meat, but he vomits beef and venison so I have to be careful that he doesn't get more than a tiny bite of it with chicken or something. We had a major breakthrough the other day when he ate his first 1/2" of bone from a chicken breast. He also ate a small piece of turkey rib tonight but refused a second piece. It's a start.
I don't want to jinx myself because recently I have had horrible experiences with adoption but this Saturday (if she's still there) I will be taking Amos up to meet a dog at a shelter an hour away and if all works out she will be the newest raw fed member of the family. Soo.. I may be posting another short intro for her next week sometime.
