What is the dry/raw rotation diet?

I read on another forum about using dry and raw together in a rotation? Can anyone tell me about that?

I know of some people who do this, it would be best if you can go all raw but I understand if you are not ready yet. I do a rotation with my cat, dry for the morning meal and raw for the night time meal. Some people do all raw one day, kibble the next, or one week raw, one week dry, some people do all raw unless they are in a rush and need to throw down dry, or are going on vacation and don't have someone they trust to feed the raw. You can do it however you'd like. Is there a reason you'd like to do both?

What I have heard is that feeding them at the same time or very closely together (within a couple of hours) can result in upset tummies and vomit. I have heard it has to do with the rate at which they are digested, raw is digested quickly and kibble sits longer and for whatever reason that causes upset tummies, not sure how valid this is but most people keep the meals apart.

My mom does the dry/raw, basically she puts down a small amount of dry in the afternoon while she's at work, her dog is fed a raw brekkie and a raw bdtime snack.

It works for them, but she has told me the dog is never eating her kibble now. LOL I guess the dog chooses raw.
