I have two male cats Jack and Harley both DMH--although Jack is bordering DLH.
Jack is my red tabby boy and Harley is black and white.
Jack will be two in July-ish and has been with us since he was 10 weeks old.
Harley is two this month--and has been with us since May 2008.
We started raw two weeks ago today actually and have just been doing one meal a day along with their wet and dry.
They have taken to muscle meat and bone fabulously--organ meat not so much. They have had chicken and turkey so far. We also have venison in the freezer--thanks to craigslist--got about 6 lbs for free and some beef from craigslist as well. I have about 20lbs of meat stocked right now. I can get turkey thighs .79/lb amish raised and most chicken .99/lb amish raised. A butcher also packages beef trimmings and organs for .69/lb and if I call at the beginning of the week they WON'T grind mine.
I won't say things are going great--because I don't want to jinx myself.
Meet Jack and Harley:
