newbie to raw

Hi everyone.. I am Cathryn. I do not feed raw (yet) but am very interested in learning more about it. I hope that someday I will make the big switch, but first I think I need to learn a bit more on the subject.

Anyways I have an 11 month old chihuahua, Chloe...and am a half mom to a crazy 6 month old german shorthaired pointer named Leroy (he is my boyfriends pup)

I hope you learn all you need to here, and don't get scared off that it isn't always perfect at first. You are lucky you are switching a dog and not a cat though! Half the battle, already won.

welcome to the forum! I assume that's your Chi in your avatar? If so He's adorable, I'd love to see more pics of him and your other dog. I hope you decide to embark on the raw food diet, once you settle into it you will not regret it!

Oh, yay, a pointer buddy! I have an english Pointer, but the GSPs are just as nice, I just really love my Pointer girl.

I haven't had a look around the whole board yet, but I'm sure as it grows, it will fill up with the best info on raw you can find, I know I plan on helping it do so. Some of the other rawfeeding groups are too hard to look around in for what you need, this one looks like a keeper.

I researched raw for almost a year before doing it, but I didn't have my puppy till that year was almost up, so I don't know if I would have made the switch on faith alone. Research is good!!
